We use only essential cookies. Our analytics uses no cookies and you can switch it off. Google Maps loads only if you allow it.

Analytics: on unless you switch it off

We rely on the exception in UK law for statistics used only to improve a website, which allows this without asking first, provided you can switch it off. If analytics has already started on the page you're viewing, switching it off takes effect from the next page.
Maps: off until you allow them

Until you allow Maps, the profile shows a button in place of the map, and nothing is requested from Google.
Whatever you choose
- Cloudflare delivers and protects every page, so like any web host it sees your IP address.
- If you sign in, we keep a record of your activity on the site to protect it and run the service. Our privacy policy explains more.
Your choice
- You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
- Your choice lasts 12 months. We'll ask again sooner if we change what the banner covers.
- If you're signed in, your choice is also saved to your account. When you sign in on another device, we use your most recent choice, but signing in never switches on anything you've switched off in that browser.
Record of your choice
Each time you make a choice, we keep a record of it: a random reference created by your browser, the time, what you chose and the version of the banner. If you're signed in, it's also linked to your account. We don't record your IP address. Records are deleted after 24 months.
